Valve reliability is improved by correctly matching the valve type, materials and features to the application, processes, service conditions, and performance requirements. You will learn how to identify the requirements and effectively communicate them to the valve supplier and implement simple measures to help assure the correct product is provided and applied. Examples will be given to improve safety and performance reliability in butterfly and ball valves.
