Ethane Furnace
A feedstock, typically Naphtha, is heated to high temperatures to break the feedstock into smaller hydrocarbon molecules. These are cooled and separated with one of the end products being High Purity Ethylene.
LHC
This unit takes natural gas condensate and oil components and recovers the heavier subcomponents. These fuels are directly reduced to ethane, propane, butane, and propylene butane.
Poly Plant
Ethylene gas, high pressure and a catalyst form polyethylene. Polyethylene strength and stiffness can be controlled to add stiffness and rigidity in High-Density and Low-Density polyethylenes.
EO & PO Units
Ethylene Oxide is another product produced from cracked Naphtha and ethylene. Ethylene Oxide is used to sterilize medical equipment and is an essential component in various consumer goods.
Power House
Most industrial sites make their own power, to control power supply and surplus electricity is sold back to the public utility. This insulates the site from brown outs and other natural weather situations.
